About Mina

Born in Northern California in April of 1965.
My nationality is a mix between Mexican and Philippine with a touch of Irish.

I am one of four daughters born to my parents.  My sisters each dwell in their own unique ways within my heart.

To the many women in the world who are also searching for and or have since found their voice...this too is for you.

A college graduate with a degree in Criminal Justice, minor in psychology.
My interests include Women Gender Studies and anything that has to
do with making the world a safer, and better place for Children.

My writings will cover a vast area in topics: Social Issues, Criminal Justice,
Preventative measures for the well-being of children, adolescents, at-risk juveniles; the youth in general, who struggle and cope with suicidal tendencies relating to child abuse in every and any form.

Domestic violence is also an emphasis in my writings; hoping to encourage a person to value themselves enough to walk away from an abusive relationship/partner, and or situation.

Relationships, faith, the empowerment of women, and the recovery from the path of self-destruction are also a strong emphasis in my writings.  Self discovery,  positive self- expression are  a focus as well in my writings.  And of course empowering the lost through Re-entry Programs.
I believe in Re-entry... Eventually many others will too!

I am currently working on having 2 books published.
My hobbies include photography, culinary arts, creative writing, multi-media painting and [blind]-sculpting.

Welcome to my Heart:
We can all learn something from each other.
Wishing YOU many blessings!
